About
Melody Clark is a London- based book artist and printmaker. Melody aims to encourage contemplation of an abstract idea in her work, and she makes use of the interactive properties of the book form, the rhythm of turning the pages and the experience offered, to achieve this. Melody’s books have a considered visual narrative and are made slowly, by hand, so Melody enters a contemplative space of her own. Melody’s work embodies the heritage of the codex book in a contemporary approach, asking ‘what might a book be?’
